 Launched in December 2006, this 40 minute film has been specially produced in multi lingual, High Definition, wide screen digital video format. It portrays Achill Island as the holiday playground of the west.

About the DVD
Achill Tourism as part of its future product development strategy has commissioned the production and distribution of a High Definition Digital wide screen multi audio track DVD.
It has been identified that Achill Island has over 50 events and activities to offer visitors to suit all ages, interests and abilities.
It is the intention of Achill Tourism to use the DVD as a multi purpose visual communication tool in that we will have a large library of film footage and a vast amount of photographs taken from the digital frames.
Achill Tourism will target the distribution of the DVD to Key Players in the Tourism Industry and Irish Associations worldwide. A two-minute version will also be made available to display on Trade and Tourism Operators websites.
