This list shows some of the events scheduled for 2010 in Achill, including the dates of Public Holidays in Ireland and the UK, along with dates for popular occasions; more events will be added as they are announced and full details will be published as soon as they become available. - Scoil Acla
- One of Ireland's oldest summer schools, Scoil Acla, celebrates its centenery in 2010 and plans an exciting line-up of events to celebrate, including of course the traditional week-long lessons in traditional Irish music and dance.

Tuesday 27th July
- Evening Lecture
- The Achill Archaeological Fieldschool's summer evening lecture programme features Dr. Hanna Ullrich, University College Dublin, speaking about 'Geochemical Contributions to the Archaeological Examination of Promontory Forts: the use of Phosphate Analysis Techniques on Achill and Achill Beg Islands, Co. Mayo'.
Saturday 31st July
- The Big Whistle!
- As part of the centenary celebration of Scoil Acla, Keel beach will host an attempt at the world record for the number of people playing a tune on the tin whistle.
31st July - 15th August
- Golf Open Competitions
- Achill Golf Club hosts open competitions at Keel. Includes the Achill Tourism Golf Competition on 31st July.

- Summer Market
- Local traders offering original craft items, jewellery, pottery, baked goods, jams and chutneys as well as scultpture and art work. Music & food available. Live band in evening.
