Ferry Trips from Achill
The Clare Island Ferry provides a ferry service between Achill and Clare Island during the season (spring to autumn). Why not take a day-trip to beautiful Clare Island, or go island-hopping between Achill Island, Clare Island and beyond.

Timetable for July & August (sailings are weather dependent)
Sailings on Tuesday Departing Cloughmore (Achill) at 10.30pm and 4.45pm
Sailings on Tuesday Departing Clare Island at 9.30pm and 4.00pm
Sundays departing Cloughmore (Achill) at 1.00pm return sailing leaves Clare Island at 6.45pm
Please book tickets in advance. Tickets can be purchased at the Achill Tourism office in Achill Sound.
A ferry service is also available between Achill and Inishbiggle Island:
Leneghan Ferries Inisbigil Island
Mon – Wed Leaving Ballycroy to go to Iniabigil @ 9am returning at 4.30pm
Thurs – leaving Inisbigil @ 10.30 returning to Ballycroy at 2.30pm
Fri & Sat - Leaving Ballycroy to go to Iniabigil @ 9am returning at 4.30pm
Sun – Leaving Inisbigil at 1pm returning to Ballycroy at 4.30pm
