A festival of storytelling events, drama workshops and activities. Unwind and enjoy your Autumn half term holiday in beautiful Achill Island.

Saturday 29th October 2011
Great Western Greenway - Guided Walk
10.45am - 1pm, Meet at Óstán Oileán Acla, Achill Sound
A guided local walk with tales of the area. Transport provided to the start of the walk and at the end of the walk.

Storytelling for Children (4 - 8 yrs old)
12 noon - 1pm, Achill Sound Library
Are you sitting comfortably ...? Story Telling suitable for children between 4-8 years. Bring a cushion to sit on. Cost: Free, but places are limited. Please contact Achill Tourism to book.

Adults Halloween Fancy Dress Party
11pm - late, Óstán Oileán Acla Waterfront Nite Club, Achill Sound
1st prize - One year's free entry to the Waterfront Nite Club. Further prizes on offer.

Achill Relaxation
Sessions last 4 hours.
Join Mary as she teaches - Relaxation techniques, tips in how to silence the mind and de-stress the body. Open ones awareness to the senses and how important that is in our lives. Mindfulness and acceptance of who we are.

Ireland's Biggest Liar Competition
9pm, McLoughlin's Traditional Bar, Achill Sound
Lie tellers wanted - politicians needs not apply. Is Ireland really home to a bit of Blarney? Do you live with the occasional white lie or do you know someone who tells some big whoppers? The organisers take no responsibility for any changes to your facial appearance whilst taking part in this competition.
Cost: Free entry. FIRST PRIZE: Title of Ireland's Biggest Liar and €200
