Walk to Annagh
Visit Achill's most secluded beach and explore the secrets of its surrounding landscape. Enjoy the seclusion and tranquillity surrounded by high corry walls. This walk will be led by a professional International Mountain Leader with full professional Instructors public liability insurance. (Annagh info & photos)

Bullsmouth 10k Stroll
A comfortable family walk around one of Achill's quieter corners. Situated in the north-east of the island, the lowland area around The Valley and Dooniver contains four large loughs (lakes) and offers views over Blacksod Bay to the County Mayo mainland and across Bullsmouth to Inishbiggle Island.
Meet: 11.00am, Valley church car park. Time: 2.5 - 3 hours (approx.) Distance 10km Grade: Easy Equipment: Warm, waterproof walking gear; light refreshments. Fee: FREE
Sunday 16th March / Dé Domhnaigh 16iú Márta
Coffin Trail Walk / An Cosán Cónra
Go back in time and walk the scenic coffin trail (an cosán cónra) over Minaun, enjoying local history and folklore stories from our local guide. The walk will commence at Keel Caravan Park, walking along the Blue Flag Beach. The group will then commence our ascent onto Minaun. The walk will follow an Early Christian Path (an cosán cónra). Enjoy the spectacular sea cliffs and views out over the Atlantic. A wild herd of mountain goats roam these hills. Full walking gear required, light refreshments and of course a camera!
Meet: 11.30am, Keel caravan park Time: 4 hours Distance 10 km. Grade: Intermediate Equipment: Full walking gear, light refreshments. Fee: FREE
Monday 17th March / Dé Luain 17iú Márta
Following the Bands
Choose to follow a pipe band from either Dooagh, Pollagh, Keel or Dookinella as they undertake their traditional St. Patrick's Day march between the villages. 2pm - 6pm

Both of the guided walks are covered by full public liability Professional Instructor insurance.
Turasóireacht Acla (Achill Tourism) is part of a walking holiday operators - public liability scheme, however participants are advised to take out personal accident insurance.
Participants are advised to wear strong appropriate footwear, ie.walking boots for hillwalks, warm clothing and raingear and bring some light refreshments and of course a camera.
